Lisa was recently one of the Celebrity Models for the Heart Truth Calgary Fashion Show to raise funds and awareness for Women’s Heart Health. Local desigers were paired up with celebrities. The designers created a red dress for each particpant to wear on the grand finale night of the fashion show.
In preparation for the show Lisa was asked to do a video about why this event and heart heath is important to her:
Lisa and CTV Sports reporter Lisa Bowes both worked with Haithem Elkidiki as their designer. He was fun, stylish and effervescent!
On the day of the show there was runway training followed by time with hair and makeup artists.
The mood of the event was truly a celebration of women’s health. Many celebrities such as NHL player Brian McGrattan and his wife Michelle brought fantastic energy to the event.
The camaraderie amongst all the woman was palpable. No one could stop smiling!
Although none of the participants had modelled before each woman owned her red dress and threw her own personal flair in and the crowd was amazingly supportive.
